I am Zaineb, a registered Social Worker in Ontario and Nova Scotia. I offer individual online counselling for ages 16+ and use HIPPA compliant video services.

 As the company name suggests, I provide strength-based therapy where I empower you to be in charge to bring changes into your life. I am here to support you, create  a safe space for you to Talk with Ease. The approaches I use are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

A bit about me:

I earned my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Dalhousie University, and my Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) from York University. I also hold a college degree in Social Service Worker (SSW) from Sheridan College.

For the past 9 years I have been working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, stress and burn out using the CBT model. Additionally, l have 10 years experience working in immigration and settlement within a school system. I have also supported clients addressing anger issues stemming from childhood trauma or unresolved life experience, as well as helping individuals navigate challenges resulting from direct traumatic incident using the CBT model.

My passion lies working with students, both local and internation and young adults as I have 13 years of experience in education. As an educator and a social worker, I strive to become a counsellor who listens, empathizes, teaches, and guides clients towards achieving their goals. My dual careers as a teacher and counsellor shaped me into the person I am today.
